IoT Summer School

In the middle of collaboration environment Insight partner hosted the “2015 Open Internet of Things Summer School”, just in the right moment when open source solutions and IoT technologies are evolving towards Industry standardization.

The Open IoT Summer School was organized with the intention to provide face-to-face support to people that aim to know more about Open platforms. This year with federation, service openness and semantic interoperability main themes the summer school was addressing the next evolution in IoT about federated IoT Solutions.

The summer school was a perfect opportunity to also involved technical experts from other research projects in Europe and motivates international collaboration. The meeting was hosted in Insight center for data analytics premises from Monday 21st to Friday 25th September 2015 in Galway City, Ireland. Similar to last year the Open Internet of Thing Summer School was an international event for talented researcher(s) across Europe and other parts of the world and it is not limited to research but open to any industry or SME individuals interested to participate, contribute, develop and acquire the know-how about IoT technology and services.
